Breton Stripes, Bike Lights
Freja is drawn wearing these pieces — an illustration, styled as the items shown, not a photograph of them.
Model: Freja — artist liaison at a small record label, Copenhagen
Why it works
The palette is a nautical classic given one turn. Navy and white carry the stripe, the coat and the shoes, and burgundy faux-leather pants are the single warm accent. The wine color reads rich under Copenhagen's street lamps and keeps the stripes from looking like a sailing club.
The proportion stays narrow from top to bottom: a fitted stripe, slim pants and a double-breasted peacoat that ends at the hip, so nothing catches on a chain or flaps on a bike. Texture does the rest. Matte cotton and dense wool sit against the low sheen of faux leather, and smooth white leather at the feet echoes the white of the stripe.
For Freja this is a uniform that survives a soundcheck, a dinner, a ride across the bridges and a 2 a.m. load-out. It moves, it wipes clean, and the burgundy is the color she reaches for as naturally as coffee, worn in a way that still looks intended.

How it goes together
A slim, cycle-ready night-out line in navy, white and wine: Breton stripes and a peacoat over burgundy faux-leather pants, finished with clean white sneakers.
